First Ever Reverse Proof Strike Morgan & Peace Silver Dollars - The lower the mintage, the rarer the coin and the harder it will be to find!
This historic two-piece set comprises the first ever Morgan and Peace silver dollars minted with a stunning reverse proof strike! Only 250,000 sets have been struck at the San Francisco Mint and only 25,000 sets are designated by the U.S. mint as Advance Release coins.
Both coins are certified in perfect reverse Proof 70 condition by NGC and have the coveted Advance Releases designation. Authenticity and uniqueness are key to how valuable collectible precious metals coins are. Each coin from the NGC Mint Directors Series is authentically hand signed by Edmund C. Moy, and David Ryder, two of only thirty-seven people to have held the esteemed position of United States Mint Director since its founding in 1872. Mint Director David Ryder implemented the U.S. Mint Advance Release program and the 1921 Silver Dollar Anniversary Act, which authorized the mintage of Morgan and Peace Dollars in 2021 for their centennial anniversary.
