2022 ASE PCGS PR70 WP Hoard Damstra

We showcase these rare Silver Eagle Proof coins that have just been released! 2022 was the first full year of production for the new Flying Eagle design on the Silver Eagles. This design was created by Master Designer Emily Damstra and her initials (ESD) are on every coin produced. A small group of these coins were found in the U.S. Mint Vault and just released as the West Point Mint Hoard. This is the only time the Type 2 Silver Eagle design has ever been part of a U.S. Government Hoard! Proof coins have been struck several times with highly polished dies for superior eye appeal and each carry the W mintmark for West Point. Only 456 pieces exist in perfect grade PR70. This is the entire population for this coin and it cannot be diluted! This coin has every box checked for collectors! Each of these pieces comes certified as a West Point Hoard discovery coin, with the real, wet ink signature from Emily Damstra and her initials are engraved on every piece.
