Washington DC Releases
The U.S. Mint’s Washington DC facility was closed in 2021 because of Covid. These coins were delivered to the facility prior to it being closed and were recently discovered. A small number of the best quality coins produced on brand new highly polished coin dies that yield the best and sharpest strike were able to be certified in perfect 10 condition. These coins are identified on their certified holders as 2022 releases.
