About this coin
2021 is the 100th anniversary of the Iconic Morgan Silver Dollar. This three-coin set features a coin struck by the U.S. Mint in Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco.
The U.S. Mint made Morgan Dollars from 1878 until 1904. The coins were rushed back into production for one year only in 1921. Because the Mint had destroyed the original coin dies, the coins struck in 1921 are different from any other coins in the series. 1921 was also the only year Morgan Dollars were produced at the Denver Mint.
Condition
These coins are offered in MS63 condition (Brilliant Uncirculated). Each coin has been signed by Kenneth Bressett, who is one of the most famous numismatic researchers and writers of all time having published numerous books and articles in his more than 60 years of involvement in the coin industry.
