The Carson City Morgan series are the most collected coins within the Morgan Dollar series, only thirteen coins were struck with the desirable CC mintmark between 1878 and 1893. Only 1,136,000 coins were issued in 1884 with a CC mintmark compared with 14,070,000 at the Philadelphia Mint.
