This two-piece set comprises an 1878 first year of issue Morgan Silver Dollar and a 1921 last year of issue Morgan Silver Dollar. These two coins perfectly bookend the original iconic series. Both legal tender pieces are certified by NGC on the new 10-point coin grading scale.

NGC introduced the new 10- point coin grading scale in January 2023 to generate interest in collectible coinage among those who have other hobby collections. The 10-point scale is already commonly used in grading comic books, video games, and trading cards, among other hobby collectibles. Initially the new grading scale was only available on modern issue coins issued after 1982. Due to wide acceptance and overwhelming demand the 10-point grading scale is now available for classic U.S. coins like Morgan Silver Dollars.

Named after their designer George T. Morgan, Morgan Silver Dollars were minted from 1878 – 1904 and then again in 1921. The design Shows Lady Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap with the word "Liberty" on her hair band, bordered by "E Pluribus Unum," the date of issue and thirteen small stars representing the original colonies. The reverse shows a bald eagle clutching an olive branch and a bundle of arrows, surrounded by "United States of America," "One Dollar", and "In God We Trust".
