First Salute Silver Eagle PF70 UCAM

In the Naval tradition of the First Salute, a newly commissioned officer pays a silver dollar to the first person who salutes them. By tradition, the silver dollar is the only coin given in exchange for the first salute. While the coin may be just one dollar in denomination, it represents a value far greater! To new officers it may represent the respect found in ones newly earned rank and position.

This 2020 American Silver Eagle Proof coin was struck at the West Point Mint and is one of only 92 coins certified in perfect PF70 condition by NGC, imparting their special First Salute provenance, which is proudly displayed in the patriotic NGC flag holder. Distributed by the U.S. Navy, this coin is very limited and an intriguing addition to any Silver Eagle collection.
