2022 China Gold Panda 5-Coin 40th Anniversary Set NGC MS70 Moy/Ryder Signatures

This 2022 five-piece gold coin set records for the 40th anniversary of the China Mint’s Panda series launched in 1982 with a specially privy mark. The “40” privy mark showing a tiny panda face sets these coins apart from all others in the series.

The new 2022 design by Huang Qin shows a pair of young Panda cubs sliding down a snowy hill. The “40” privy mark, a key collectible feature of these coins is shown on the left between the two cubs. The obverse depicts the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests located in Beijing’s Temple of Heaven.
